Greene Air Helicopters have recently relocated to the Whirinaki Valley area and are looking to become dedicated partners in the farming community by offering their agricultural helicopter services.
Paul Greene – owner/director and pilot began his helicopter flying career in 1992 and now has over 10,000 hours of flying experience.
Having recently returned from a contract in Indonesia carrying out exploration work at Grasberg Mine, Paul is keen to settle in Rotorua and continue to concentrate on Greene Air Helicopters Ltd.
He previously owned Tararua Heliwork based in Paihiatua for 10 years and sold the company 192008.
He has also held contracts in Wellington, Stratford, Greymouth (Pike River/Solid Energy), Hawkes Bay and Australia.
His skills lie in agricultural spraying and agricultural flight training. However, he has vast experience in lifting, tourism, fire fighting, fire lighting, filming, SAR, high altitude lifting, winching, mustering and wild animal control.
His partner Ann Gregor is sales & marketing manager for Volcanic Air Safaris and has experience in tourism marketing for over 20 years. Volcanic Air Safaris has been operating for the past 25 years from the Rotorua City lakefront and offer floatplane and helicopter scenic flights to international and domestic visitors.
Together they have the experience in this area to provide a knowledgeable and efficient service in response to your needs.
Offering vast experience in agricultural, commercial and high altitude operations, in precision flying, and operating in high workload environments, the company also retains a solid culture of operational safety and pride ourselves on 18 years of accident free flying.
Based in Rotorua we also carry out work over the Central North Island.
We are also interested in talking with you about obtaining the use of farmland to carry out training exercises with pilots learning the Ag trade, this can be done in conjunction with your spraying needs and we would be happy to negotiate a rate.
