Paul Greene – Pilot /Director

It has always been Paul’s ambition to fly and after joining Helipro in 1995 as ground crew he obtained his PPL Helicopter In October 1993 and CPL Helicopter in August of 1997.

Now having reached over 10,000 flying hours he has flown a variety of different aircraft within his flying career including the following:

Bell 206, BK 117, AS350, Bell UH1, Bell 407, EC120, Hughes 500, Hiller 12E, Hughes 300, R44. R22.

He holds a D and E category instructor rating which allows him to carry out type ratings and agricultural ratings in the Helicopter.

In 1999 Paul bought Tararua Heliwork, employing 5 staff and carried out general agricultural work until selling the company in 2007.  Over these dates he also worked for Becks Helicopters and Coast Wide Helicopters assisting with rig support in Greymouth at the mines, top-dressing, bait work and power line construction.

Paul went back to work for Helipro under contract as Greene Air Helicopters and continued to carry out various Aust and NZ wide contracts.  Work included,  power and live line surverys, fire fighting and construction and latterly in Greymouth for Solid Energy providing drilling support to 6 rigs.

He then went onto join Kershaw Aviation which took him up to Indonesia on a month on month off arrangement flying high altitude drilling support to the Grasberg Mine, one of the largest Goldmines in the world flying the B3 Squirell.

Ann and Paul have bought a home in Whirinaki Valley and plan to promote agricultural and flying services to Rotorua/BOP and central North Island ultising Pauls’ vast agricultural experience and flying qualifications.

Ann Gregor – Sales & Marketing

Ann has been living in Rotorua for the past 20 years.  Her career has seen her working in the tourism hospitality area for a majority of this time in a sales and marketing capacity.  Her previous roles have included S & M roles with ACCOR – Novotel Rotorua, rebranding Sheraton Rotorua Hotel, now known as Distinction Hotel, Convention Bureau Manager for Destination (Rotorua District Council) , marketing on and offshore to the conference and incentive market, On Board New Zealand – selling luxury charter vessels for charter sailings throughout the 1999-2000 Americas Cup Campaign and more recently with Volcanic Air Safaris.

Volcanic Air Safaris operate a fleEt of 3 floatplanes and 3 helicopters at the Rotorua City Lakefront.  They are are privately owned and operated providing scenic air experiences on a charter and per seat arrangement.  Their clients include International/domestic, corporate, group, conference & incentive clients.
